Merthyr Tydfil FC

USA
3-0 WALES
Young Merthyr forward Craig Moses earned his first Welsh
Under 19 cap in
Northern Ireland
today. Moses' debut came after 55 minutes of
Wales'
opening game in the Milk Cup tournament.
Entering the field with his side trailing 3-0 to the
competition holders
USA, Moses was unable to
lead his side out of the wilderness, although the 18 years old had three
efforts on goal and came closer than anyone in red to scoring a goal for
the Dragons.

Moses
Moses who only signed up to Merthyr's Youth side last summer,
burst through the ranks at Penydarren Park scoring 14 goals in 17 games at
Youth level.
He made his first team debut at Mangotsfield United in the
Southern League cup and went on to cap his first start at the club with
the only goal of the game versus Banbury United at home in January. The 18
year old from Brecon was voted Youth Team player of the season and signed
a contract with Merthyr for the coming season.
