CAERAU (ELY) VACANCY 21 January 2015 U19 Assistant Manager/Coach Our highly skilled U19 Welsh League team are seeking an Assistant Manager/Coach to join an already successful club. The Youth team are currently second in the table with 10 games played and are one point from top spot. This is a great opportunity for a coach who wants to achieve success and breed quality players for higher levels. The club prides itself on opportunity for the youth and many of the youth players have featured for the first team this season. The successful assistant manager/coach must have experience in coaching youth sides. There are currently two UEFA B and two UEFA C Licence coaches at the club so it would be helpful if the oncoming coach has a UEFA C Licence although not essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking the majority of the U19s training which is held every Wednesday at Glantaf High School astro from 17:45 to 19:15. 5 July 2014 Due to the many exciting future developments at our club we are now looking for people to join us in various capacities to support our team. We require people in many roles such as Fixture Secretary, Referees' Official, Commercial Manager, canteen staff as well as match day helpers. All these positions are so important for the club as we want all visitors to our matches to enjoy the games and the hospitality. Already at our first training session we had over 40 players attending and the club invite any unattached players to contact our club if they are interested in training with us. Preparations are now well in hand for the club's tour to play the Spanish La Liga giants Valencia in Spain at the end of July. 27 May 2014 Recently crowned Welsh League Champions Monmouth Town are on the look out for a new first team manager to replace Steve Jenkins who has taken the helm at his home town club Merthyr Town. Chairman Lee Robson praised the work Jenkins did in just a season at Blestium Street but was keen to build on the success and restated the club’s ambition to gain promotion to the Welsh Premier League. “It goes without saying that Steve did a tremendous job over the past 12 months and we thank him and wish him good luck in the future. Steve’s ambitions lay elsewhere but ours remain the same as they always have and that’s promotion to the Welsh Premier League and qualification for Europe. We’re looking for a new manager who thinks he or she can take us on the next part of the journey over the next five years and beyond.” The successful applicant will have successful managerial experience at the higher reaches of the Welsh League or equivalent tiers in other countries and at least a UEFA “B” Coaching licence and preferably an ‘A’ licence. 5 April 2014 Caerau Ely FC are looking for an assistant manager to join a well-established Welsh League Division One team for the 2014-15 season. This is due to current assistant manager Giles Smith moving to London to become a Head of Department in August. The club has made excellent progress in the last few years and have a young and talented squad who have the potential to challenge for honours. The incoming assistant will be working alongside young manager Nana Baah who is currently in his second season at the club. It would be preferable if the new assistant manager joins the club before the end of the season so that they can get to know how the club operates meet the team and share their ideas for the future improvement of the club. An FAW 'C' Certificate is the minimum requirement unless one has substantial coaching and playing experience at a high standard.
