ANNUAL PRESENTATION EVENING
Treharris
Athletic's Presentation Evening was held on Friday 13 May 2005 at the
Danygraig Labour Club.
In attendance
were Alun Evans and Brian Fear of The Football Association of Wales, Alan
Jones Secretary of the Merthyr Tydfil Football League, Emrys Evans and
former referee David Delaney.
The Disco,
the Best in Wales, was provided by Peter Edwards.
The Awards
were as follows:-
Player of the
Year Award - Nigel Mahoney - presented by Alun Evans
Most Man of
the Match Awards - Anthony Thomas – presented by Emrys Evans
Supporters'
Player of the Year - Kevin Bounds – presented by David Delaney
Players'
Player 0f the year - Kevin Bounds – presented by Alun Evans
Most Improved
Player - Chris Williams – presented by Alan Jones
Best Goal
scored went to Kevin Bounds (36 in total for season) – presented by
Martin Nash
Awards for
Service to the Club - Steve Broome – presented by Jackie Broome (Mam),
and Scott Arthur - presented by Mike Mcdonald
David Delaney was presented with a whistle plaque for past
support by Mike Casey.
The Club
wishes to thank Martin Nash of the Quakers Yard Inn for the
sponsorship he donated to the Club and for providing hot meals after all
home games. Many thanks to local businessman Peter Hodges too, a
former Merthyr Tydfil and Hereford United footballer, for providing the
Club's kit for the past season, not forgetting our Match Programme
Advert sponsors.
Colin Reddy will
again be the Team Manager for the new season.
